TRUMPF is an international family company, which is market and technology leader in machine tools and lasers. The company has a competence centre for bending technology in Austria, that produces bending tools besides bending machines. The TRUMPF BendGuide has been developed to help the users of these machines to calculate the right parameters. The app provides a collection of calculations often used both by users of the TRUMPF machines and technicians.
All essential calculations
The existing app has been updated in terms of design and technical funcionalities, moreover, new features have been introduced in the TRUMPF BendGuide app. An important one is the „search tool“ functionality, that allows users to find quickly different press brake tools. The app makes and displays all calculations about bending – including press force calculation, calculation of the plate thickness, inside bend radius and checks of the installed height.
Tailored CD and available for every system
The app is available for Android and iOS. A lot of emphasis has been put on UX/UI of the app and the TRUMPF BendGuide app has been developed according to the TRUMPF the Corporate Design.
